Arsenal Women will host Bayern Munich tonight in their final Group C match of the UEFA Women’s Champions League. However, they may be without key midfielders Kim Little and Lia Walti.
Little has been dealing with injury issues, while Walti has been hospitalized with an abscess. Manager Renée Slegers hinted that neither player may be ready to start against Bayern.
In their absence, Kyra Cooney-Cross and Mariona Caldentey have stepped into midfield. Slegers praised their “daring” performance in the 1-0 win over Liverpool.
Arsenal will need to be at their best to overcome Bayern, who defeated them 5-2 earlier this season. A win would see Arsenal finish top of the group.
The match kicks off at 8PM UK time and will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and DAZN’s official YouTube channel.
