After a fast start established a four-goal half-time lead, United held on to set up a fifth-round tie against Chelsea. Chido Obi scored twice, while James Scanlon, Jack Fletcher, and Reece Munro also found the net. Preston’s Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile scored both goals for the visitors.
