Arsenal fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Fulham in a wet and windy London derby. William Saliba scored the equalizer in the second half after Declan Rice’s corner was headed back across goal by Kai Havertz. The Gunners had trailed at half-time after Raul Jimenez fired the hosts ahead with their only attempt on goal in the opening 45 minutes. Bukayo Saka had the ball in the net late on, heading in a deep Martinelli cross, but it was disallowed for offside after a VAR check. The draw takes Arsenal six points behind Liverpool, second in the table, at least until the late Sunday game.
