He’s earning the minutes’: Iraola impressed with Winterburn’s first start

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola praised Ben Winterburn’s performance in his first senior start against West Brom. The 20-year-old played the full 90 minutes as Bournemouth progressed to the FA Cup fourth round. Iraola highlighted Winterburn’s work rate and understanding of his role, despite playing out of position at times. Winterburn has made seven match day squads for the first team this season, including a Premier League debut against Fulham.
