Football stadiums that never were including Chelsea and Spurs designs

Europe boasts iconic football stadiums, but several ambitious designs never materialized. Chelsea’s Battersea Power Station concept, Liverpool’s Stanley Park stadium, and Everton’s Kings Dock proposal were among the unfulfilled dreams. Portsmouth’s waterside stadium and Dinamo Zagreb’s volcano-shaped arena also failed to take off. Barcelona’s offshore mega-stadium plan was replaced by Camp Nou’s renovation, while Bristol City’s Ashton Vale stadium was hindered by local opposition.
