Manchester City legend Tony Book, known as “Skip,” passed away at 90. As a player, captain, and manager, Book made significant contributions to the club’s success, including winning the First Division title, FA Cup, League Cup, European Cup Winners’ Cup, and Charity Shield. He also inspired City to their first FA Youth Cup triumph in 1986 as a youth coach. Book remained a beloved figure at the club, serving as an Honorary President and Life President of the Official Supporters Club. He will be deeply missed by the City family.
