Despite the honor, she emphasized the need for a comprehensive Hillsborough Law to ensure accountability and prevent future tragedies. Aspinall, whose son James was among the 97 victims, urged the government to implement the full version of the law, stating, “I don’t want crumbs of a Hillsborough Law. I want it all.”
