Funeral of Kath Phipps takes place

Manchester United’s beloved receptionist, Kath Phipps, passed away in December, leaving a legacy of warmth and dedication. Phipps, who began her career in 1968, greeted visitors with a cheerful welcome at the training ground and directors’ box entrance. Her funeral was attended by Sir Alex Ferguson, who read a eulogy, and a host of United legends, including David Beckham and Roy Keane. Former players Bryan Robson and Peter Schmeichel shared fond memories of Phipps, highlighting her unwavering support for the club. Kitman Albert Morgan paid tribute to her exceptional work ethic and kindness, noting that she lived to serve Manchester United.
