City council to seek long-term care provider for troubled nursing homes

Liverpool Council seeks a new provider for Brushwood and Millvina care homes, which it took over last year. Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust will extend nursing services for three months, but cannot continue beyond that. The council aims to procure a replacement provider to ensure continuity of care for residents and stability for staff.
