Beattie announces retirement

Former Manchester City defender Jen Beattie has retired from professional football after a remarkable career spanning almost 20 years. The Scotland international, who represented her country 143 times, played for City from 2015-2019, winning multiple trophies including the FA Cup, League Cup, and Women’s Super League title.
