Aston Villa transfer latest as manager confirms deal is ’99 per cent’ done

Aston Villa are close to signing Levante defender Andres Garcia for £6m. Sporting Lisbon were also interested, but Villa have reportedly won the race. Garcia has impressed for Levante, contributing three goals and two assists since November.

Villa are also linked with Chelsea defender Axel Disasi, who has fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge. Disasi has interest from Juventus as well, but Villa are reportedly keen on a loan move.
