Aston Villa ‘submit offer’ for defender as Unai Emery targets reunion after transfer snub

Aston Villa are targeting Villarreal defender Juan Foyth after Loic Bade opted against joining the club. Villa have submitted an offer for Foyth, who played a key role in Villarreal’s Europa League triumph under Unai Emery in 2021. Foyth, who can play at right-back or center-back, has been hampered by injuries in recent seasons but has returned to action in December.
