Teenage centre back reportedly heads for Cherries medical ahead of moveBournemouth reportedly nears a deal to sign 18-year-old American center back Matai Akinmboni from DC United for around £1 million. The rising MLS talent, who made his debut last year, is expected to provide cover for the Cherries in the second half of the season. Akinmboni, nephew of former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Kuffour, has made 17 appearances for DC United and three for the US U19 team.
