Arsenal beat Monaco 3-0 in Champions League clash
Bukayo Saka scored twice and Kai Havertz added a late third as Arsenal defeated Monaco 3-0 in the Champions League. The victory moves Arsenal into third place in the group standings, with one more win likely enough to secure a spot in the last 16.
Saka opened the scoring in the 34th minute, tapping home Gabriel Jesus’ cross. He added his second goal in the 78th minute after a mistake by Monaco goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki. Havertz rounded out the scoring in the 85th minute.
The win extends Arsenal’s unbeaten run in the Champions League at Emirates Stadium to eight matches. The Gunners will next face Everton in the Premier League on Saturday.
