Arteta Delighted with Squad Rotation as Arsenal Thrash Monaco
Mikel Arteta praised his squad’s performance after a 3-0 win over Monaco in the Champions League. The Gunners boss made four changes from the weekend draw with Fulham, including a first European start for 18-year-old Myles Lewis-Skelly, who impressed. Bukayo Saka continued his fine form with two goals and an assist.
“I’m very happy,” said Arteta. “It’s always very difficult to win in the Champions League. 3-0 and a clean sheet puts us in a really good position in the group.”
The win moves Arsenal to third in the group with 13 points from six matches. They need just two more points to secure a place in the knockout stages.
