Arsenal Women continued their impressive form with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich at Meadow Park. The Gunners fought back from two goals down to claim their 8th consecutive win and extend their unbeaten run to 11 games.
An early own goal from Bayern defender Viggosdottir gave Arsenal the lead, but the visitors equalised just before half-time through Eriksson. Bayern took the lead early in the second half, but Russo quickly levelled the score. Caldentey then converted a late penalty to secure a dramatic victory for the Gunners.
The win sees Arsenal top their UWCL group and provides a major confidence boost ahead of the new year.
